G) Material Processing
1) South Cresson Clay Processing Area
Processing of Soil Liner Fill material continued at the South Cresson Clay Process. A CAT D -8
dozer, a CAT 320 excavator, and a CAT 966 front -end loader were used to process the material.

H) ADR and Crusher Waterlines
Welding of the steel portion of the ADR waterline continued. Approximately 320 linear feet of
each pipe size (10" and 12 ") was installed during the week.
Pipe trench excavation and bedding was performed throughout the week for the Crushing
waterline using a CAT 330 excavator and a CAT 980 front -end loader. The pipe bedding material
was moisture conditioned and compacted using the bucket of the CAT 330 excavator.
Approximately 1500 linear feet of 10" HDPE pipe was placed in the Crushing waterline trench
excavated throughout the week. Backfilling of the pipe was not performed during the week.
I) Miscellaneous
Ames salvaged gravel from the old substation site was performed using a CAT D -9 dozer and a
CAT 375 excavator. The material was loaded into 40 -ton haul trucks and stockpile just south of
the excavation. This work activity was finished Tuesday (11/3/2009).
III) Underground Workings
A) Drilling
No work performed during the week.
B) Mine Shaft/Stope Remediation
The Kitty Lane and Thompson shaft were encountered during cut at the old substation site. The
underground workings were surveyed. The workings will be monitored and remediated when cut
in the area is completed.
C) Lateral/Slot Remediation
No work performed during the week.
