.ameely Fx.9� A �En�irran•ta:ntri. H) ADR and Crusher Waterlines Welding of the steel portion of the ADR waterline began. Construction of a welding shelter and site preparations were performed. Approximately 100 feet of the ADR waterline trench (10" and 12" HDPE) continued using a CAT 966 front -end loader and a 10 -ton smooth drum roller. Snow was removed from the trench prior to backfill placement. I) Miscellaneous Ames salvaged gravel from the old substation site was performed using a CAT D -9 dozer and a CAT 375 excavator. The material was loaded into 40 -ton haul trucks and stockpile just south of the excavation. III) Underground Workings A) Drilling No work performed during the week. B) Mine Shaft/Stope Remediation No work performed during the week. C) Lateral/Slot Remediation No work performed during the week. IV) Storm Water Management Structures A) Control Structures No work performed during the week. Installation of the 42" culvert from the Crushing area to the Sediment pond began using a CAT 345 excavator and jumping jack compactor. Approximately 40 feet of culvert was installed. The installation of the culvert was stopped on Tuesday (10/27/2009) due to design issues in the area. Installation will be paused until the design issues are resolved. B) Best Management Practices Best Management Practices are being observed throughout the VLF Phase 5 Project. Storm water controls were maintained throughout the week. V) VLF Geosynthetics Exposure of the Phase IVa geomembrane at the northeast corner of the facility (approximate stations G13 +00 to G15 +00) and Phase IVc geomembrane at the old LOB site continued using a John Deere 35D excavator. The bulk of the excavation was performed using a CAT 375 excavator. This was performed to re- certify the liner in this area. An AMEC representative was present at all times during the exposure.
