October 2004 -19- 043 -2170
Golder perfonmed six CQA gradations of SF. The testing frequency (approximately one test per
20,842 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified testing frequency of one test per 50,000 cubic
yards. The CQA gradations performed on SF met project specifications. The SF CQA gradation
results are ,presented in Appendix I -1 and summarized in Table 9.
Golder performed 21 CQA gradations of SLF. The testing frequency (approximately one test per
4,592 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified testing frequency of one test per 5,000 cubic
yards. The CQA gradations performed on SLF met project specifications. The SLF CQA gradation
results are presented in Appendix 1 -1 and summarized in Table 10.
Golder performed ten CQA gradations of DCF. The testing frequency (approximately one test per
19,290 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified testing frequency of one test per 20,000 cubic
yards. The DCF CQA gradations met project specifications, and the results are presented in
Appendix I -1 and summarized in Table 11.
Golder performed two CQA gradations of FSB. No testing frequency was identified in the CQA plan
for this material. The CQA gradation performed on FSB met project specifications. The FSB
gradation results are presented in Appendix I -1 and summarized in Table 12.
4.1.2 Moisture Content
Golder measured oven moisture contents of UF, SSF, FSB, LDF, PBM, SF, SLF, and DCF as part of
the CQA program. Moisture content data is presented in Appendix 1 -1.
4.1.3 Atterberg Limits
Golder performed Atterberg limit testing of all fill materials. All fill materials, with the exception of
SF and SLF were non- plastic. The SLF, SF, UF, LDF, PBM, SSF, DCF, and FSB samples tested met
project specifications for Atterberg Limits.
The SLF testing frequency (approximately one test per 4,592 cubic yards for SLF) exceeded the
minimum specified testing frequency. The plasticity index of the CQA SLF samples ranged from 21
to 32, meeting the project specification of plasticity index greater than or equal to 10. Atterbe o limit
test results for SLF are presented in Appendix I -1 and summarized in Table 10.
61411t70 "0\Cett- 4 QAP►No-IGOM=79.WO&124&C rtrbtVGdu Golder Associates
