1.6 Certification Boundary
Figure 2 presents the boundary of the Phase IVa Area that is being certified in this report. The
certification boundary coincides with the limits of the VLF liner system, with the exception of
the area directly beneath the haul road where the thickness of ore over the liner will be less than
20 feet as required for the loaded 310 -ton haul truck. While the liner system within this area
has been constructed according to project specifications, it is being excluded from certification
due to the ore thickness beneath the haul road.
