• All segments (except for the culvert) utilize a 14' wide channel and meet the required flow by
varying the flow depth and the riprap lining size. All segments use riprap of D50 = 1.00 feet, 1.75
feet or 2.5 feet. Segment 4 is a steep corrugated steel pipe arch culvert under the main access road.
Segment 6 is a very mild grade long section around the old fill storage area. The top of Segment 6
joins with the original Carbon Junction Canyon drainage. All segments will have 0.3 freeboard in
addition to the flow depths shown in the design.
