Civil Resources, Lt 323 Fifth Street Approval Period: January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010 Contact phone number for Mr. Andy Rodriguez: 303- 833 -1416 Dear Mr. Rodriguez: We have received your letter of December 5, 2009, requesting renewal of the above referenced substitute water supply plan ("SWSP") to cover depletions caused by a gravel mining operation. The required fee of $257.00 for the renewal of this SWSP has been submitted (receipt no. 3643717). The original supply plan was approved on July 31, 2008 and it was most recently approved in a letter dated December 2, 2008. Plan Operation :; The Parker = Dersham Mine is located directly west of Hall- Irwin's existing Baseline Resource Gravel Mine (DRMS No. M97 -058). The Baseline gravel mine is currently active and is covered under a separate SWSP. Operations at the site are expected to occur during nine months of the year from March through November. The applicant will dewater the active mining area to allow for dry mining. The dewatering water will be conveyed through dewatering trenches to the 7.18 acre settling pond located at the Baseline Resource Gravel Mine site and returned back to the river via the Baseline return. An alluvial well has been constructed on the Baseline Resource Gravel Mine Site ( "Baseline Resource site ") to provide water for concrete batching at the Baseline Resource site and dust suppression. This well is currently permitted under well permit no. 66961 -F (WDID 0210141) for operation under the Baseline Resource site SWSP and is located outside the boundaries of the slurry wall. In addition to providing 1.66 acre -feet for dust control and 11.29 acre -feet for concrete batching at the Baseline Resource site the well will provide 1.67 acre -feet of water for dust control at this site.
