taken to irrigate their own place in the past 70 years. Facts and documents in this packet.
? FOR FURTHER PROOF.
Fact 9: Page 3 Bensons Property. Again false information There were furrows and it was not all
WILD FLOOD IRRIGATED.
Fact 10: Page 4 Lloyd property. It does not matter that this property is owned by five different
families. This property was furrowed and irrigated by Gordon and Lori Smith and they leased it
not only for the grazing but for the hay. They also had retained first rights at purchasing it and
also leasing it as soon as it is reclaimed back to irrigated pastures. Numerous hours of irrigating
was done here. It should be put back like it was.
Factl 1: Johnson Place.. Michael and JoEllen Farmed this property faithfully. It has 100's and
100's of feet of gated pipe which Darrell Johnson and his wife stacked at Pattys' and James'. We
had to pick this pipe up and put it out again every time we cut hay. He had beautiful hay fields
and prior to it being taken, it yielded 319 ton per year besides allowing James to graze his cattle
all year after the hay was cut. False information is being provided. This should also have to be
reclaimed back to its hayfields because there are numerous people that would like to lease this
beautiful farm for grazing. Hay is a desperate item in this area and so is a place to graze cattle.
This place needs to be put back.
Fact 12: Page 5. An extensive vocabulary has been used, but the words are out of
context, because of lack of knowledge about farming. "Corrugated Pipe" There is NO SUCH
WAY TO IRRIGATE!!!! This is a pipe similar to a culvert, not something you irrigate with! ! ! !
We use 20-30 foot joints of PVC or aluminum gated pipe.. This ENTIRE PARAGRAPH is a
falsehood!!!!!! We used gated pipe and a Traveling Big Gun with a hose cart When we irrigate
with gated pipe the water is turned on for how ever long it takes us to get across the field.
Sometimes we can open gates on 12 joints of pipe up to 40 joints. It hasnever taken us 10 days
on our field, and then our big gun covered numerous acres with its 660 feet of hose walking
across the field, another fact, left out.. Yes, Morgans leased 50 shares of water to WFC and told
them at the time, if you need more that can be worked out and in fact, we have offered another 10
shares to be used if necessary. This is another one of those things that was taken out of context.
When the contract was drawn up, they asked how many shares did it take to irrigate that 100
acres. Mr. Morgan said 50. At that time, that was even using an open ditch and 50 shares would
irrigate the entire 100 acres. The water in a pipe and using a sideroll is much more efficient. So
we should really be able to do a lot more. Underlined was MAXIMUM of 50 shares. Well, this
is out of context because WFC told Mr. Morgan that was in there to protect him so WFC
couldn't just take more water at random without discussing it with Mr. Morgan. All prior
contracts have basically the same wording. The Morgans will also get revenues from the sale of
all alfalfa hay...Don't you mean SAGEBRSH bales? The Sunshine Corner yielded 643 ton of
corn for silage prior to it being leased to Western Fuels and 360 tons of Alfalfa, and according to
documentation from the U. S. Department of Agriculture, "Under a high level of Management,
The Sunshine Corner is capable of producing 22 tons of corn silage per acre, 5.5 tons of Alfalfa
hay per acre, 4.5 tons of grass hay per acre, 110 bushels of barley per acre, or 80 bushels of oats
per acre."
I was lucky, I sold almost all of our crops locally so to prove these figures is very easily done.
