Appendix A — DRMS Form 2 Public
Lynx -Royal JV LLC Egnar F12009 N01
shape than indicated above as it is configured to fit around minor topographic and vegetative
features. In the event that large amounts of water are
encountered during drilling, the pits will be designed and maintained so that only decanted water
is allowed to escape to the surrounding area that is not an ephemeral drainage.
Some of the access trails and drill pads may require some cutting of brush, tree limbs and
perhaps the removal of a specific pinion or juniper tree. Cut material will be temporarily placed
in a pile or piles adjacent to the access trail or drill site, and then scattered back over the trail or
site during reclamation. See Attachment B for a photo record of most of the proposed drill sites
and access trails.
Drill Hole Abandonment
No more than two drill holes will be left open at any one time.
A) Plugging Procedure
- Dry or Damp Hole - The drill hole will be backfilled as much as possible with
cuttings, using the mineralized material first. After backfilling to within about 5
feet from the surface, a spray foam plug or concrete plug will be brought to within
Page 3 of 5
