f <br />CMA <br />December 2, 2009 <br />Page 4 of 4 <br />The Blue Ribbon Mine is nominated for achieving final bond release and their successful final <br />bond release of the entire mine site. The Blue Ribbon Mine received its final bond release approval <br />and issuance on November 2, 2009. <br />The Blue Ribbon Mine is a reclaimed underground room and pillar coal mine, located in Delta <br />County'. The permit area encompassed 341 surface acres, 34.5 acres of which were disturbed. The mine <br />began operating in 1977 and mined the E-seam with continuous miners. The production rate was about <br />192,000 tons per year. The post mining lands uses are wildlife habitat, grazing and recreation. <br />MINREC, Inc. is commended for their sustained effort and accomplishments in achieving final <br />bond release of the Blue Ribbon Mine. <br />Please 'let me know of any questions or if you need anything further.
