Sunset Street, Suite IF <br />Longmont, Colorado 80501 <br />RE: Greeley 35 Avenue Mine, DRMS File# M- 1977 -036, Adequacy Review #2 <br />Amendment 01 <br />Dear Mrs. Hora, <br />The Division received your response to our first adequacy review on October 16 2009 <br />for the Greeley 35 Avenue Mine in regards to Amendment 01. There were many issues <br />identified in the first adequacy review that were not addressed or only partially addressed. <br />The remaining issues and additional issues are discussed below under their respective <br />Exhibit headings. <br />Please remember the Decision Date for the application is December 31 2009. If <br />Lafarge is unable to satisfy the concerns identified in this review before December 31 St , <br />2009, it will be Lafarge's responsibility to request an extension of the review period. If <br />there are outstanding issues that have not been adequately addressed prior to the end of <br />the review period, and no extension has been requested, the Division will deny the <br />application. <br />6.4.3 EXHIBIT C - Pre - mining and Mining Plan Map(s) of Affected Lands <br />A.) Please address Item # 2 from the first adequacy review: <br />2.) Also, in order to evaluate the present level of disturbance for the current <br />affected land, please submit a topographic map with contours of sufficient detail <br />to determine the direction and rate of slope for all the current affected land within <br />the permit area. This is necessary in order to evaluate the financial warranty.
