6.4.5 Exhibit E — Reclamation Plan
<br />and disked. Optimal periods of seeding are in the fall (after November 1 st) or in
<br />the spring from late March to April 30th. Mulching will not be completed as the
<br />quality soils and availability of water should facilitate the rapid establishment of
<br />perennial grasses.
<br />Following revegetation, weed management strategies will be implemented to
<br />facilitate and achieve native grassland. The strategies will include an aggressive
<br />mowing program to prevent the growth and establishment of weeds, specifically,
<br />the eight noxious weeds recognized by Larimer County: Canada thistle (Cirsium
<br />arvense), Dalmation toadflax (Linaria dalmatica), diffuse knapweed (Centaurea
<br />diffusa), leafy spurge (Euphorbia esula), musk thistle (Carduus nutans), Russian
<br />knapweed (Centaurea repens), spotted knapweed (Centaurea macu/osa), and
<br />Yellow toadflax (Linaria vulgaris) as mandated by Colorado State Law (35-
<br />5.5CRS1990, 1996).
