K-Ridge Dragline Stripping Limits <br />PtWe 4 <br />it <br />L-Pit Limits <br />Previous work performed by AAI (November. 2007) indicates that these K-Pit spoils <br />create stable dumps during the construction phase and are suitable base materials for larger <br />dumps. At a dump height of 400 tt the material had a factor of safety of 1.45; once the dump is <br />Contoured to the final design configuration, the long-term factor of safety increases to between <br />1.51 and 1.75. <br />Construction of the Horse Gulch underdrain and till placement shall comply with all <br />applicable regulations and the recommendations of this report. However. the recommendations <br />of this report may he revised to match the field conditions encountered during construction. <br />Additional finger drains may be required if near-surface groundwater is found in later phases of <br />Consh•uction. Once haul routes and dump elevations are established tier the shovel-truck <br />operation, underdrain construction techniques may require modifications. <br />Agapito Associates, Inc.
