Offsite Support Facilities
The South Fan and the Newlin Creek topsoil pile footprint area were not accessible due to
ground conditions. The loadout appeared unchanged since the last State inspection.
Overall, the site appeared in good condition for the early winter season.
The reclaimed areas at this former mine site appear in excellent condition going into the
winter season. Good to excellent cover is established in all reclaimed areas (shown below,
east of the truck tunnel). Slopes of the refuse disposal area appear stable and well
vegetated. Rill and gully erosion is not an issue at this site. Cattle were not observed on or
near the reclaimed areas.
