III. COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the Colorado Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division). This mine is in permanent cessation and <br />reclamation of most areas is complete. Ground conditions on this day were very muddy due <br />to recent snow and subsequent snowmelt. The weather on this day was clear and cool. <br />Availability of Records <br />The public copy of the mine records is kept at the Energy Fuels Coal Company (EFCC) office <br />in Florence. Al Weaver, consultant to EFCC, represented EFCC for the records inspection. <br />Specific details regarding the records inspection can be found on page 2a of this report. All <br />records were found in compliance. <br />Hydrologic Balance <br />Pond 4 and Pond 5 were both found dry, indicating little excess runoff from the latest round <br />of precipitation. Magpie Creek permanent diversion appeared normal and no changes were <br />noted. <br />Reveoetation <br />
