The resource is believed to be 40 to
50 feet in depth. Topsoil and overburden at this site ranges in thickness between
two inches or less to approximately three feet. The topsoil and overburden will not
be segregated as all the material is acceptable plant growth media.
There has been no testing of material to a depth of 50+ feet to determine the nature
of the stratum.
g. The primary and secondary commodities will be crushed aggregate in a
variety of sizes to be sold as construction materials. If a wash plant is used in the
operation there will also be washed products available. Sand and gravel products
produced from this pit will be used for construction activities and backfill. These
products may also be used for the production of asphalt and concrete.
h. At time there is no indication of any incidental products that will be mined.
i. No explosive devices will be used in the mining operation.
It is our intent to purchase scales that will not only be used for the mining
operation but also be used by various truckers other than those associated with the
mining operation. The scales will be in an area outside the mining limits to allow
for the continued use of the scale. This location will also be the site of our scale
house/office trailer. An access road will be constructed from County Road 61 to
the mine area, (See Exhibit A-1).
Rev 11/20/09
