<br />The Divisian of Reclamation, Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116,
<br />Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that an November 9, ???9, an application to revise coal mining operations at
<br />the Elk Creek and Sanborn Creek Mine was considered carnplete far the purposes of filing, The revision was submitted by
<br />Dxbow Mining, LLC. All reviev? and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations inmate from this date of
<br />filing,
<br />This Technical Revision provides far the addition of as many as thirty-three gob vent bareholes at the Elk Creek Mine.
<br />Twenty-seven drill pads and asocitcd temporary, light use roads will be installed; the borehales will be fitted with pumps far
<br />none ventilation, and eventually reclaimed.
<br />The underground coal mining operation is nn land located approximately ? miles North of Somerset, Colorado. The permit
<br />aria is further described as fauow?;

<br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USCS 7.5 minute quadrangle reaps of Somerset and Bowie.
<br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the tune of
<br />publication of this native, the applicant is additionally required to place a copy Qf this application at the paonia Public Library,
