<br />The Division of Reclamation, Mu?uig and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 11 G,
<br />Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on ?iovember 9, ?0?9, an application to revise coal nvning operations at
<br />the Ells Creep and Sanborn Creek Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing The revlslon was submitted by
<br />oxbow 1V[ining, LLC. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of
<br />filing.
<br />This Technical Revision provides for the addition of as many as thirty-three gob vent boreholes at the Elk Creak Mine.
<br />Twenty-seven dti?l pads and associated temporary, light use roads will ?? installed; the barehales will be fitted with purrips for
<br />mine ventilation, and eventually reclaimed.
<br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 0 miles forth of Somerset, Colorado. The pernvt
<br />area is further described as follows.

<br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on UGS 7.5 minute quadrangle maps of Somerset and Bowie.
<br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed coi?iplete, At the time of
<br />publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to place copies of this application at the Paar?ia Public Library,
<br />Z Third street, Paonia, CC $148; at the Delta and Gunnison County planning Departments; and at the Division office. FQr
