Two small wetland areas were identified in the original gully for Valley Fill #1. These wetlands <br />were inspected by the USACOE Durango office and a letter was issued by that office stating that <br />the wetlands were acceptable to remove. See attached letter. <br />Weed Control <br />Each spring there will be a weed survey of the permit area. If there is a weed infestation, a local <br />weed control contractor will be used to mitigate the weed problem. This weed survey will be <br />conducted before mining starts and will continue thought the life of the mine as well as through <br />reclamation until the bond is released. <br />Cugnini Pit, November 2009 J-4
