-DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS <br />Greeley Band and Gravel <br />Amended USR-247:87:10 <br />1. The Special Review permit is for open-pit mining and <br />materials processing and concrete and asphalt batch plants as <br />.submitted in the application materials on file in the <br />Department of Planning Services and subject to the <br />Development Standards stated herein. <br />2. The open-cut gravel operation shall comply with section 44.4, <br />Operation Poli-cies. Any violation o-f these regulations shall <br />be grounds for enforcement of Section 44.5, Cancellation of <br />Permit. - -- -- - -- - - - - - <br />3. A sewage disposal vault approved by the Weld County Health <br />Department or an approved septic system shall be used as the <br />sewage disposal system for the operation. Portable toilets <br />may be'utilized on sites which are temporary locations of the <br />batch plant for up to six months at each location. <br />4. All operations on said described parcel shall be in <br />conformance with the Weld County Flood Hazard Regulations <br />including: <br />A. NO fill, berms, or stockpiles shall be placed in the one <br />hundred (100) year flood plain of the Cache la Poudre <br />River which would obstruct passage of flood flows. <br />:B. All fuel tanks, septic tanks, temporary buildings, and <br />any other hazardous items that might wash away during <br />flooding shall be securely anchored and adequately flood <br />proofed to avoid creation of a health hazard. Following <br />completion of mining, all temporary buildings shall be <br />removed. <br />-5. Within 180 days following approval by the Board of County <br />Commissioners, an additional Air Emissions Permit shall be <br />obtained from the Air Pollution Control Division, Colorado <br />Department of Health. The applicant shall comply with all <br />requirements of the permit to control fugitive dust and <br />-odors. Fugitive dust shall be controlled on this site. <br />6. No permanent disposal of wastes shall be permitted on the <br />-Special Review Site. <br />871400
