<br />The Division of Declamation, Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accardancc with Title ?4, Article 33, Section 116,
<br />Paragraph 4, of the olorada Revised Statutes, that on ?ctaber t 9, 2D09, an application to revise coal mining operations at the
<br />Bowie No. l Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revlslan was submltted by Bowie Resources, LLB.
<br />Ali review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of tiling,
<br />This prnpased revision will allow far the cessation of quarterly inspections of the west ridge coal mine waste disposal site.
<br />Rules of the alarado Mined Land Declamation Board state that ir>spcctions may be terminated when e coal mine waste bank
<br />has been graded; covered; topsoil has been distributed on the waste bank; and revegetated. Final portion of the west ridge coal
<br />mine waste disposal site were graded, covered, topsailed and reseeded in ?O?S.
<br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located appraxirr?ately 3 miles earth of Paonia, olorado? The permit area is
<br />further described as follows:
<br />Portions of sections 1, 2,1 ?-1 S, 2.2-25, Township 1 ? South, Range 92 west of the 6th P.M.
<br />Por?ons of Sections ?-8,17-I9, 29 and 3?, Township 13 South, Range 91 west ofthe nth P,.
<br />The above-mentioned tracts ofland are Shawn on USES 7.? minute Quadrangle rr?aps afBowie and ?xray Reservoir.
<br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed corrrplete, At the time of
<br />publication of this notice, tho applicant is additionally required to place a copy of this application at the Paonia Public Library, ?
