<br />The Division of Reclamation, Minim and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title ?4, Article ??, Secrion 11?,
<br />Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on Qctaber 1, 2449, an application to revise coal mining operations at the
<br />Bowie 110, 1 Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Bowie Resources, L1?C.
<br />All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing.
<br />This proposed revision will allow for the cessation of quarterly inspections of the west ridge coal mine waste disposal site.
<br />Rules of tt?e Colorado 1Vlined hand Reclamation Board state that inspections maybe terminated when the coal mine waste bank
<br />has been graded; covered; topsoil has been distributed on the waste bank; and revegetated. Final portions of the west ridge coal
<br />mine waste disposal site were graded, covered, tapsoiled and reseeded in 208.
<br />'The underground coal T111t11r1 operation is on land located approximately ? miles Forth ofPaonia, Colorado. The permit area is
<br />further described as follows:
<br />Portions of Sectzons 1, 2,10-1 ?, ??-2 S, Township 13 South, Range 9? west of the Gth P,M,
<br />Portions ofSections 5-x,17-19, 29 and 3?, Township 13 South, Range 91 west ofthe Gth P..
<br />The above-mentioned traits of land are shown Qn SSG 7.5 minute quadrangle maps of Bowie and Gray Reservoir.
<br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the time of
<br />publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to place a copy of this application at the Paonia Public Library, ?
<br />Third Avenue, Paonia, C? 814$, and at the Division office. For addit7ional information or to provide written comments,
<br />contact the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, 1 ? 13 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 8424,
<br />?303? 8??-SG7. In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that comments be submitted within fifteen
