Please Explain and provide the
seeding mix that fits the existing species in the area.
II) Exhibit C Mining Plan
1) On Page 23, you state "the mine access will be via an existing private road measuring 30
feet in width". During the site visit while in the area on 9/29/09, the access road does
not appear to be adequate to handle haul truck traffic. Are there plans to upgrade this
access road ? Please explain.
2) On the same page the operator states, "The site is currently used as trailer house junk
yard and storage area on the old pit floor. Again during the site visit it was very difficult
to tell where the old pit floor started and the storage area began. In order to avoid
future confusions, please provide a mining and reclamation map clearly delineating the
Permit area, pre law disturbed areas and the wet land that was noted during the
inspection of the site. The current maps only show affected land 200 foot buffer. Is
the 200 buffer line the permit boundary ? Why did you indicate on page 4 of the
application as Primary land use as Industrial Commercial, when the area is zoned
Agricultural/ Range Land? Please Explain. Is the total area to be affected under the
current plan which includes the per- law area 8.57 acres of the 9.9 acre permit area?
Please explain.
3) Given the fact that there exist a wet land along the North West portion of the proposed
permit area, how can you state that there will be no ground water encountered during
the mining operation.
