• 6.14(1)(c)(M)
An appropriate highland pasture grass shall be sowed. Arkansas Valley Seed Co. of Denver offers a blend called
"Mountain Mix". This product, or others that are compatible, shall be used. A specification sheet for "Mountain
Mix" is attached at the end of this Exhibit D.
6.3.4(1)(c)(iv)
This mixture shall be broadcast at a rate of 40-50 pounds of pure live seed per acre, a rate twice that recommended
by the manufacturer to ensure coverage.
The texture of the bio-solids/woodchip soil medium is appropriate to receive directly broadcasted seed without any
pre-treatment. Once the seed is broadcast, the seedbed shall be adequately raked to provide for seed placement.
During all phases of operations and reclamation, inspection shall be routine to identify the presence or establishment
of noxious weeds, as defined by the State of Colorado. The Company shall work in concert with Clear Creek
County's Noxious Weed Supervisor, Ted Brown (303-679-2467), to identify and manage this potential problem.
63.4(1)(c)(v)
No additional mulching is required. The woodchip component of the new soil medium provides as a mulching
agent.
6.14(1)(c)(vi)
No shrub or tree species are scheduled to be established as part of this Reclamation Plan. Any natural re-
establishment of native species of the same, however, shall be acceptable.
6.3.4(1)(d)
Any infrastructure development (ie electric/water utility roads etc) or any structures built are to remain in Mace ner
• landowner's (Venture Resources') request.
Specifically, these structures shall remain in place after operations cease and post-reclamation. These structures can
be identified in the maps of Exhibit E:
• Overhead electric utility line, associated transformers and power distribution. These are private, owned by
Venture Resources and may be used for potential, future real-estate development.
• Pre-existing public roads.
• Water Holding Pond. Future use of source water for fire-fighting.
• Leachate Collection facility including the sediment collection pond, diversion ditches, concrete collection
barrier, pumps, electric control panels. It is necessary to keep these structures in place for Tailings
Impoundment short term post-closure maintenance.
• All Mobile Mill Site mobile and portable equipment may remain on-site in an inactive state for storage. This
conforms to existing Clear Creek Mining District Zoning M-1 and M-2 designation.
The proposed post-operations land use is to restore the property back to its current Mining District zoning
designation. Clear Creek county currently has the patented mining claims of this property zoned M-1 (mining
and/or residential). The segments of property that have been added to these parcels via the BLM land purchase
program are zoned M-2 (mining only). A copy of Clear Creek county zoning regulations are attached at the end of
this Exhibit D. It shall be stressed that the only permitted use of M-2 zoned property in Clear Creek county is
MINING.
6.3.4(1)(e)
Mobile Mill Site Reclamation:
The bulk of the above outlined reclamation measures are specifically to be applied to the affected area denoted in
Exhibit E as the Tailings Impoundment (unless otherwise noted). The Mobile Mill Site requires a much less
involved reclamation procedure.
At the permanent cessation, or for periods of unforeseen temporary cessation, of Operations, as so described in
• Exhibit C, the Mobile Mill Site will become inactive. All sources of acid producing materials shall be consumed by
