• 6.14(1)(c)(M) <br />An appropriate highland pasture grass shall be sowed. Arkansas Valley Seed Co. of Denver offers a blend called <br />"Mountain Mix". This product, or others that are compatible, shall be used. A specification sheet for "Mountain <br />Mix" is attached at the end of this Exhibit D. <br />6.3.4(1)(c)(iv) <br />This mixture shall be broadcast at a rate of 40-50 pounds of pure live seed per acre, a rate twice that recommended <br />by the manufacturer to ensure coverage. <br />The texture of the bio-solids/woodchip soil medium is appropriate to receive directly broadcasted seed without any <br />pre-treatment. Once the seed is broadcast, the seedbed shall be adequately raked to provide for seed placement. <br />During all phases of operations and reclamation, inspection shall be routine to identify the presence or establishment <br />of noxious weeds, as defined by the State of Colorado. The Company shall work in concert with Clear Creek <br />County's Noxious Weed Supervisor, Ted Brown (303-679-2467), to identify and manage this potential problem. <br />63.4(1)(c)(v) <br />No additional mulching is required. The woodchip component of the new soil medium provides as a mulching <br />agent. <br />6.14(1)(c)(vi) <br />No shrub or tree species are scheduled to be established as part of this Reclamation Plan. Any natural re- <br />establishment of native species of the same, however, shall be acceptable. <br />6.3.4(1)(d) <br />Any infrastructure development (ie electric/water utility roads etc) or any structures built are to remain in Mace ner <br />• landowner's (Venture Resources') request. <br />Specifically, these structures shall remain in place after operations cease and post-reclamation. These structures can <br />be identified in the maps of Exhibit E: <br />• Overhead electric utility line, associated transformers and power distribution. These are private, owned by <br />Venture Resources and may be used for potential, future real-estate development. <br />• Pre-existing public roads. <br />• Water Holding Pond. Future use of source water for fire-fighting. <br />• Leachate Collection facility including the sediment collection pond, diversion ditches, concrete collection <br />barrier, pumps, electric control panels. It is necessary to keep these structures in place for Tailings <br />Impoundment short term post-closure maintenance. <br />• All Mobile Mill Site mobile and portable equipment may remain on-site in an inactive state for storage. This <br />conforms to existing Clear Creek Mining District Zoning M-1 and M-2 designation. <br />The proposed post-operations land use is to restore the property back to its current Mining District zoning <br />designation. Clear Creek county currently has the patented mining claims of this property zoned M-1 (mining <br />and/or residential). The segments of property that have been added to these parcels via the BLM land purchase <br />program are zoned M-2 (mining only). A copy of Clear Creek county zoning regulations are attached at the end of <br />this Exhibit D. It shall be stressed that the only permitted use of M-2 zoned property in Clear Creek county is <br />MINING. <br />6.3.4(1)(e) <br />Mobile Mill Site Reclamation: <br />The bulk of the above outlined reclamation measures are specifically to be applied to the affected area denoted in <br />Exhibit E as the Tailings Impoundment (unless otherwise noted). The Mobile Mill Site requires a much less <br />involved reclamation procedure. <br />At the permanent cessation, or for periods of unforeseen temporary cessation, of Operations, as so described in <br />• Exhibit C, the Mobile Mill Site will become inactive.
