Your explanation of the tailings impoundment, mobile null site equipment, milling process and
reclamation plan was helpful. i appreciate your efforts to reclaim the mine tailings in the area and improve the
property for wildlife.
1 believe your project will, at a minimum, be wildlife ftcut ml in its impact to local wildlife populations. With
strategic vegetation planting in your reclamation process, in addition to the removal of acid forming materials, the
project could result in a net positive impact on local wildlife populations.
At this juncture, the Division is in support of this project and would be happy to assist in any further consultation
regarding impacts to wildlife as you move forward. You, or the Department of Mining, are welcome to call me at
any time with questions or clarifications at 343.916.1180.
S' I,--"
Toctersburg
District Wildlife Manager- Idaho Springs
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, Harris D.
