Middle Flume Pond to be cleaned
Backfilling and Grading
The Ash Pit was in the process of backfilling at the time of the inspection. No problems were noted in
the area of the Ash Pit or the area of future Ash disposal.
Explosives
No blasting was conducted during the inspection.
Support Facilities
The facilities areas of the office and maintenance buildings were in compliance with no problems
noted. The area in and around the ANFO and Emulsion tanks was stable with no problems noted at
the time of the inspection.
Topsoil
Topsoil stockpiles were located in the permitted locations. Topsoil stockpiles were marked and
exhibited good vegetation cover with no erosion characteristics evident.
General Mine Plan Compliance
The area of Horse Gulch permitted under TR-103 continues to progress with topsoil striped and
underdrain construction underway. This area is the future location of the Horse Gulch Excess Spoil
Fill. Inspection reports are required for this area in accordance with 4.09.1(11).
