Regular Board of County Commissioners Meeting -Grand County, Colorado <br />May 19, 2009 <br />Page 2 of 18 <br />Commissioner Newberry moved to accept Amendment No, 3, a Letter of Credit No. 538 issued by the Pueblo <br />Bank and Trust Company for the Eagle Ridge at the Summit, LLC in the amount of $26,623 that extends the <br />expiration date to July 21, 2009. <br />The motion passed unanimously <br />Commissioner Newberry moved that a new Letter of Credit for the warranty security and/or for all uncompleted <br />improvements be in place by July 7, 2009. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Commissioner Bumgarner moved to approve the minutes of the Special Meeting of the Board of <br />Commissioners of May 5, 2009 <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />Commissioner Bumgarner moved to approve the minutes of the Special Meeting of the Grand County Housing <br />Authority of May 12, 2009. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />Commissioner Bumgarner moved to approve the minutes of the Regular Board of Commissioners meeting of <br />May 12, 2009. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />General Public - Comments/Issues <br />Lori Clement provided Resolutions for Board approval. <br />Commissioner Bumgarner moved to approve Resolution No. 2008-9-29, "A RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />THE LUPINE MEADOWS SUBDIVISION EXEMPTION FINAL PLAT, LOCATED AT UNIT 41 ASPEN <br />CANYON RANCH WEST OF THE SE1/4 OF SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP 1 SOUTH, RANGE 78 WEST OF <br />THE 6TH P.M., COUNTY OF GRAND, STATE OF COLORADO" and authorize the Chair to sign all <br />applicable documents. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />Commissioner Bumgarner moved to approve Resolution No. 2009-5-9, "A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY <br />OF GRAND, STATE OF COLORADO TO EXECUTE THE ADMINISTRATIVE PLAT AMENDMENT <br />FOR THE GRAND COUNTY ROAD AND BRIDGE, CDOT AND TOWN OF GRANBY FACILITY <br />LOCATED IN THE SWIA OF SECTION 32, TOWNSHIP 2 NORTHER, RANGE 76 WEST OF THE 6TH <br />P.M., COUNTY OF GRAND, STATE OF COLORADO" and authorize the Chair to sign applicable <br />documents. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />Trevor Denney of the Grand County EMS provided the Board with a grant to print the Emergency Preparedness <br />magnets in Spanish. <br />Commissioner Newberry moved to sign the Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness Grant in the amount <br />of $1,000 to print the Emergency Preparedness magnets in Spanish. <br />Discussion: Commissioner Bumgarner stated that English is the language in the United States and believes that <br />information needs to be printed in English.
