operation on 92.38 acres.
DISCUSSION
Grand County Board of County Commissioners purchased the property for the proposed gravel pit on January
1, 2009, by Warranty Deed recorded at Reception No. 2009000669. The Grand County Road and Bridge
Department, representing the County, is requesting a Special Use Permit (SUP) which would allow gravel
The pit will be accessed from County Road 3 by a short 1100' section of road which runs perpendicular to
County Road 3. ?This short section of road shall be designated a County Road Number.
This Special Use Permit is issued for a 92.38 acre area, however mining cannot exceed twenty (20) acres at any
