PAGE 2 <br />Permit #: M-1977-129 <br />Operation Name: WHITEWATER 500 PIT <br />Anniversary Date: 09122/009 <br />specifically with each of the Annual Report requirements as <br />outlined in Rule 1.15 of the Rules and Regulations. <br />(1) Mining continued in Stage 2 - PART A, Stage F south of <br />the river and began on Stage 3 - PART B. Mining was <br />completed on the final 2.48 ± in Stage 2 - PART A and <br />continued on a limited basis in Stage F as shown on <br />the Annual Report Map - Sheet 1 of 2 (\\\). The Plant <br />Site in Stages W, Z and 2 is still in use (tan). The <br />red line on Stage F is the <br />approximate location of the working face in that area. <br />Additional stripping will be done ahead of the working <br />face in Stage F if needed. <br />Please refer to Map Sheet 2 of 2 when reviewing the <br />information provided on the north area. In 2008 <br />mining began north of the river when 18.00 acres ± on <br />the north end of Stage 3 - PART A was stripped and <br />mined to create the settling pond and fresh water <br />pond. The material from this area was placed on the <br />6.00 acre raw material storage area, in the northwest <br />part of Stage 6. The main processing plant was moved <br />to the new Industrial Site at 1360 Coffman Road. <br />Sixteen acres of Stage 3 - PART B was stripped (yellow) <br />and the overburden was stockpiled east of the stripped <br />area (brown). This material will be used to reclaim <br />the slopes and resoil the above water area as <br />reclamation progresses in this stage. Approximately <br />2.00 acres was partially mined in the stripped area. <br />The new haul road was constructed along the east side <br />of Stage 3 - PART A <br />(2) Final grading was completed on the perimeter of <br />the large lake in Stage 2 - PART A and in Phase 2 - PART <br />B. The landowners perimeter road was graded in around <br />Phase 2 - PART B and the south side of the large lake <br />in Stage 2 - PART A. The water level in these lakes <br />have stabilized after the landowner used his <br />irrigation water to fill the large lake. The two
