The entire permit area has been surveyed for cultural resources. An excerpt
from Map 3 is attached showing the area affected by TR-64 in Section 28, T.3N.,
R.101 E. All known cultural resources, even isolate finds (IF), are avoided by the
proposed disturbances.
BLM has traditionally provided extensive review of the proposed activities in light of
cultural resources. Their staff archeologist reviews all proposals and provides
comments as necessary.
We can provide DMG with a duplicate of Map 3 to hold as confidential material.
2. Active drill sites are covered by the SAE titled `Typical Degasification
Borehole, Ventilation Shaft, Return Shaft, Rock Dust Shaft, and Exploration Hole
Pad Areas' found in Illustration 44. Reclaimed drill sites are coved by the SAE
demonstrations you mentioned.
The bonding cost estimate appears adequate.
Thanks.
Scott Wanstedt
From: Gorham, Kent [mailto:Kent.Gorham@state.co.us]
Sent: Tuesday, June 19, 2007 1:58 PM
To: Scott Wanstedt
Subject: TR-64 correct letter
Try this one... please email your responses along with any issues on the cost estimate and we will move ahead
towards approval.
