Rimrock Exploration & Development, Inc.
J-Bird Uranium Mine/ DMO/ EPP Construction Schedule Information
15.0 CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE INFORMATION
No facilities designed to contain or transport acid-forming materials or designated
chemicals used in the extractive metallurgical process are associated with the Site. There
are no material(s) which have the potential to cause acid mine drainage. The site will
have facilities designed to transport or contain toxic material as defined by HB-08-1161.
The facilities are identified in Figure 2 Site Man. The Ore Stockpile Pad will be
constructed using published DRMS General Ore Pad Construction Critera. Assuming
dry weather and consistent access to the site, it is estimated that 30 days is needed to
construct and provide DRMS with required proctored, validated data for the pad.
Design for the stormwater retention basins, run-on diversion channels, culverts and water
bars, will be submitted to DRMS for review and design approval. Illustrations of these
designs are provided in Figure 4a Stormwater Control Retention Basin Cross-sections
Fi urg a 4b Stormwater Control Diversion Channel and Water Bar Cross-section.
Assuming dry ground conditions, Rimrock estimates 30-days to construct the stormwater
retention basins, run-on diversion channels, culverts. All associated Quality Assurance
and Quality Control (QA/QC) measures will be ongoing during construction and a final
report submitted within 60 days of completion. Up-slope water bars have been
constructed, but will need minor maintenance. A culvert was constructed on Montrose
County Y.1 road with County oversight and approval.
26
