This pit HAS NOT been granted a
Temporary Cessation and it HAS operated more than 180 days
this year. The Financial Warranty for this operation is
$142,900.00, the permitted area is 70.12 ac.± and has a
single Reclamation Phase. As required in Rule 1.6 the MINE
PERMIT SIGN is at the entrance to the pit and the boundary has
been outlined with posts to delineate the Permit Boundary.
Reclamation Ridge took the permit over from Thompson
Properties in March 2009 and this is our first annual
report.
Groundwater monitoring results are attached for the 3
monitoring wells installed in June 2007. Our understanding
is that collecting the monitoring data was the
responsibility of the mine operator, Flintstone Gravel.
They did not transfer any monitoring data to us so we can
not report on what happened between 7/2008 and 7/2009. We
resumed collecting the data this month and will do so on a
quarterly schedule until a trend has been established. No
mining has begun on the eastern parcel so there is still
time to collect the data.
