The permanent drainage channel (shown below) appeared normal with no evidence of recent flows. <br /> The two large five-foot diameter culverts(not shown)were found clear of debris and appeared <br /> functional. <br /> r! <br /> Reveeetation <br /> Revegetated areas were traversed on foot. <br /> The reclaimed area of the large sediment <br /> pond (shown at right) is showing excellent <br /> signs of revegetation. The operator <br /> appears to have drill seeded into a cover <br /> of long stem hay, a method that results in -not only reseeding but a crimping of the <br /> mulch into the soil profile. Seeded <br /> species are clearly visible sprouting from <br /> the drill rows (below). Both grasses and <br /> forbs (vetch?) were noted along with a <br /> complement of annual weeds, which all <br /> provide good hydrologic cover. Noxious <br /> weeds were not observed at this time. <br /> 4 <br />
