EXHIBIT J - Vegetation Information
Vegetation Description
a) The Pierce North site is dry land farmed, usually as winter wheat. As is typical and
accepted farming practice in Colorado, there is no cover on the site from late summer
through the following spring. The winter wheat height at full growth is typically less than 2
feet, cut fields are left in stubble approximately 6 inches in height. When under cultivation,
the site has not been irrigated. No trees are present on the North Pierce site.
b) There entire site has been farmed and planted with the same crop regardless of soil variation
(if any) or topography across the site.
C) When under cultivation, the site has not been irrigated. Annual wheat production is
typically 30 to 45 bushels per acre. No trees are present on the North Pierce site. .
MADAVE B\Pierce Nortb\DMG permiAExhibits-Revl.doc 8/21/2009
