EXHIBIT H - Wildlife Information <br />Wildlife <br />The North Pierce site is currently dry-land farmed, typically for winter wheat. The 160 acre site has been cultivated <br />with annual furrow plowing. There are no trees present on the site to offer roost or nesting sites for birds. <br />a) There are no significant wildlife resources present on the site. Some pheasants have been <br />sighted in the area along the County Road. <br />b) The site is utilized as cultivated agricultural land, plowed in mid-summer and planted in <br />winter wheat typically in mid-August. Winter wheat starts growing in the following spring <br />and is harvested in July. <br />C) Thee are no threatened or endangered species on the Pierce North site. <br />d) There are no significant wildlife resources in the Pierce North area; the proposed <br />intermittent mining and grael processing activities are not anticipated to have any wildlife <br />impacts.
