EXHIBIT L - Reclamation Costs
The Weis Pit is 40.5 acres.
1) The area of excavation will be mined at a slope of 2:1 and finished at 3:1.
2) Overburden and topsoil will be re-applied to the excavations.
3) The slopes will be fertilized with fertilizer or barnyard manure as indicated by soil
tests and then seeded with a cover crop.
4) After the cover crop is established, the grass will be planted as recommended by
the local Natural Resource Conservation Service.
5) An estimate has not been prepared because this permit is held by a county
government which guarantees that they will reclaim the pit.
EXHIBIT M - Other Permits and Licenses
A zoning permit has been applied for from the Phillips County Planning Department.
Notification of the proposed mining is being sent to the State Historic Preservation
Officer.
No additional permits or licenses are required.
