It will be addressed in the order presented in the inspection report. I feel we need to address some of the items noted in number three for clarification purposes to better explain why the Technical Revision only covers the Concrete Batch Plant. 3. Problem The current maps on file with the Division accurately show the surface features of the Rocky Flats Mine. Only the Mining Plan Map needs to be revised to show the location of the Con- crete Batch Plant. The roads that cross the Church Pit and The Bluestone Pit existed prior to 1987 when the Rocky Flats/Bluestone permits were issued. The sediment pond (a fresh water pond), and wash plant are not located on the Rocky Flats Pit. Attached is a July 2008 air photo showing the per- mit boundaries for the three adjacent mines. The green out- line is for the Rocky Flats Pit, The pink outline is for the Church Pit and the blue line is the Bluestone Pit. This out- line is based on a Survey prepared for the mineral rights owner (Church Ranch) in 2004. A copy of the survey is at- tached. It shows that corner pins were set for each mine in this complex. We have found the corner pins for both the Rocky Flats mine and have placed large concrete blocks on the NW and SW corners, staked the east and north lines and a fence denoted the south line. There are some problems when overlay- ing the survey on a photo but I feel this photo is fairly good representation of the permit areas. 1. The Technical Revision is to include the concrete batch plant that lies within the Rocky Flats pit. The wash plant is not in the Rocky Flats pit but is located on the southern end of the Church Pit (M-1979-045). The sedimentation pond you refer to is in the Church Pit. None of these items need to be placed in the Rocky Flats Pit nor would it be practical to move them to a new location.
