This revision addresses
the need to perform topsoil stripping work in the Horse Gulch area. This work and the
associated reclamation liability are covered in Trapper's PR-6 submittal. Trapper would like
to begin this work in early September so that we can complete our project work while the
weather is still good. There is sufficient bond coverage above our current liability to
accommodate this effort.
Enclosed is Map M10B, Topsoil Stripping and Reclaim, Sheets 2 and 3. These sheets show
the addition of 59 acres of topsoil stripping in the Horse Gulch area. Also enclosed is a
reclamation cost calculation sheet for Appendix A that shows the cost of topsoil replacement,
revegetation and associated indirect costs for this activity. Trapper's current bond amount
will accommodate this additional liability.
The additional disturbed acreage that necessitated the enlargement of Horse Gulch Pond
under TR-103 included this acreage.
Please contact me or Jim Mattern if you have any questions regarding the enclosed
information.
Sincerely,
Fo est V.
