• 2.05.3
Screen and Crusher Building
The screen and crusher building is a structural steel building that is
approximately 52 feet high. The building houses a double deck screen and
crusher. It has the capability of producing 2"x0" crushed coal and stoker
sized coal. The dimensions of the building are approximately 40 feet by 21
feet by 52 feet high.
MCC Building
There are two motor control center buildings. One located on the D-Seam
portal bench northeast of the screen and crusher building is a cinder block
building. It is approximately 18 feet by 42 feet with an 11 foot eave height. It
has a concrete roof. One is located on the Hubbard Creek shaft pad. It is
approximately 15 feet by 25 feet with a 12 foot eave height.
Fuel Oil Storage Fueling Stations
A concrete and steel structure located at both the D-Seam and B-Seam
portal levels to contain gas, fuel and oil. The structure is approximately 20
feet by 30 feet long. The containment area is constructed of 8-inch thick
walls four feet high. The three sided steel structure rests on the concrete
• containment and is approximately 20 feet high. A small lean to structure is
located behind the D-Seam fueling station. The facilities have a 10,000
gallon diesel tank, a 500 gallon DOT diesel tank, a 10,000 gallon hydraulic oil
tank, a 500 gallon antifreeze tank, a 2,000 gear oil tank, a 2,500 gallon gas
tank and a 1,000 gallon motor oil tank.
Substation
A gravel surfaced fenced area located on the utility level to contain the
substation for the mine facilities. The outside dimensions of the facility are
50-feet by 50 feet. The substation contains transformers to reduce the line
power to a suitable voltage. A pad for a future substation will be provided on
the utility level. The future substation will require a larger space,
approximately 50-feet by 100-feet.
A 40-foot by 60-foot substation was constructed at the highway stockpile
area to provide power for the reclaim tunnel and truck loadout bin.
n
U
TR-6 - 2.05 - 10 - 04/09
APPkaVo
C/3 0/b7
