• <br />Case 1:05 -cv- 01738- RPM -CBS Document 1 -1 Filed 09/07/2005 Page 2 of 7 <br />On February 17, 2005, fourteen days after entry of judgment against them in Virginia, the <br />Tatums conveyed their ranch " Solitario," which is located in Las Animas County, Colorado, to <br />Solitario Purgatory, L.L.C., a Colorado limited liability company which the Tatums formed on <br />February 17, 2005, and which the Tatums control. The conveyance rendered each of the Tatums <br />insolvent, and it continues to hinder MLO's efforts to collect the judgment in its favor. MLO brings <br />this action to obtain legal remedy under Colorado law. <br />Parties <br />1. MLO is a Virginia professional corporation which maintains its principal place of <br />business in Albemarle County, Virginia. <br />2. James Eddie Tatum is an individual citizen of Colorado and who resides at Solitario <br />0 Ranch, 12630 Highway 12, Weston, Colorado. <br />3. Ann Marie Tatum is an individual citizen of Colorado and who resides at Solitario <br />Ranch, 12630 Highway 12, Weston, Colorado. <br />4. Solitario Purgatory, LLC, is a limited liability company registered with the Colorado <br />Secretary of State, who has assigned it `Entity ID" number 200510741.08. <br />5. . According to the organizational document on file with the Colorado Secretary of <br />State, Solitario Purgatory, L.L.C., maintains its principal place of business at 129 North Commercial <br />Street, Trinidad, Colorado. <br />6. According to the organizational document on file with the Colorado Secretary of <br />State, James Eddie Tatum and Ann Tatum formed Solitario Purgatory, L.L.C., as its sole members. <br />• —2— <br />
