Personnel are working on the mill site (currently part-time until additional office facilities <br />are on site) and full-time off site since April 6, 2009. These personnel include laborers <br />and supervisors for equipment removal, relocation, refurbishment and repair. The <br />following capital improvement activities are planned this summer/fall. <br />o Mill equipment, replacement and repair <br />o Mill equipment, removal and reconfiguration for flotation circuit w/o gravity <br />o Mill additional equipment, filter and water management equipment <br />o MSHA compliance improvements <br />o Tailing's storage facility reconstruction <br />o Mill start-up phase, operation with water only <br />o Mill initial ore production at 80stpd (28kstpy) <br />o Environmental compliance, permitting and monitoring <br />¦ Lake County conditional use permit (CUP) <br />¦ Storm water plan <br />¦ Air quality APEN <br />¦ TSF technical revision to Permit M-1990-057 <br />¦ Weed control plan <br />Personnel are working on the mine site (currently part-time) since April 6, 2009. The <br />following capital improvement activities, for operating the mine as a tourist mine, are <br />planned for this summer and fall. <br />o Rehabilitation of underground level for tourist access <br />o Rehabilitation of cage/mantrip <br />o Rehabilitation of mine surface facilities/dry <br />o Rehabilitation of surface air compressors <br />o Construction of board walks, parking, and view deck <br />o Environmental compliance, permitting and monitoring <br />¦ Lake County conditional use permit (CUP) <br />¦ Storm water plan <br />¦ Air quality APEN, negative determination <br />¦ 110(2) Permit <br />¦ Weed control plan <br />• Additional personnel and contractors have been on the mill site. and mine site prior to the <br />April 6, 2009, permit transfer date. Facility maintenance and repairs to the existing mill <br />facilities and road maintenance were performed. Since September 2008, capital <br />investments and improvements have been conducted at the Hopemore Shaft totaling <br />approximately $65,000 (including restoring the hoist). <br />• Engineering, environmental and design personnel and contractors have been on site <br />within the last 180 days with the sole purpose of moving the facility to an operational <br />state. Engineering process reports, metallurgical reports, tailings characterizations, <br />concentrate characterizations, and ground water analysis have all been conducted.
