35-401bs nitrogen and potassium will be applied with a spreader and <br />4,000 straw or grass hay noxious weed free. <br />iii. State the species to be planted and applicable quantities: (see above for <br />grass seed mixtures, no forbs, shrubs, or trees will be planted. <br />iv. Application method for grass seeding: The seed will be applied by <br />broadcasting the seeding rates above has been recommended by Leon S. <br />Kot, District Conservationist. <br />V. Mulch, if necessary, and rates of application certified noxious weed straw <br />or grass mulch will be applied and crimped in at a rate of 4,000 pounds an <br />acre, as recommended. <br />vi. Establishment method for each species of shrub or tree: No scrub or trees <br />on this area to be permitted. Range land according to National Resource <br />Conservation Services. <br />D. Specify which ponds, streams, roads and buildings will remain after reclamation: <br />No roads, ponds, fences, signs or buildings will remain. Will eventually put up a <br />building for processing equipment, but it will be taken down. Bureau of Land <br />Management recommended leaving the well for possible future use. <br />E. Specify the reclamation treatment of any waste rock dumps, tailings <br />improvements, underground mine openings, ditches, sediment control facilities, <br />buildings and other features not addressed. <br />All rock dumps will be used in the reclamation process in the backfill of the open <br />pit. Expect saleable material and all rock dumps should be gone. There will not <br />be any gravel stockpile, sand, and boulder stockpiles all will be gone. Sediment <br />ponds will be dug and used in reclamation; sediment ponds filled in covered with <br />topsoil and seeded. No ditches on property. No underground mine openings. <br />Well will be left for BLM purposes in future. Surface will be contoured if need <br />be to keep all storm water on site. This will minimize disturbance to the <br />hydrologic balance and prevent off-site damage.
