Inc. <br />Shift: Day/Night <br />Reporting Period: 04/19/09 through 04/25/09 <br />Days S M T W T F S <br />Work Shifts - D D D D D D <br /> - N N N N N N <br />D = Day Shift N = Night Shift <br />Ambient Temperature Range: Lows: 30°F to 35°F (+/-) Highs 50's to 60° F <br />AMEC CQA Personnel On-site through the Reporting Period (See Attachment A). <br />AMES: No weather delays during the week. <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND PROGRESS: <br />I) EARTHWORKS <br />A) Clearing and grubbing <br />1) LOB Pad <br />Trees and slash were removed from the northwest slope of the LOB Pad in preparation for <br />structural fill placement. One Cat 345 excavator loading one Volvo haul truck hauled the <br />removed materials to Pad 4 slash pile. <br />B) Overburden Rock to Stockpile <br />1) LOB Delivery Road <br />Overburden excavation continued through the week between stations 26+00 (+/-) and 32+00 <br />(+/-), stations 23+00 (+/-) and 25+00 (+/-) and stations 1+00 (+/-) and 2+00 Unsuitable <br />material was transported to the Joe Dandy Main Cresson backfill using four Cat 777, and 3 to 7 <br />Volvo A40D haul trucks, a Komatsu 800 excavator, and a CAT 875 track: excavator aided by a <br />Cat D-10 dozer and D-9 dozer (Double shift work). <br />Rockbreakers continued drilling the LOB Delivery Road cut between stations 32+00 (+/-) to <br />30+00 (+/-), 23+50 (+/-) to 27+50 (+/-), and between stations 2+00 (+/-);and 3+00 (+/-) for <br />blasting. Shots were performed in these areas throughout the week. Rockbreakers worked <br />double shifts and used from four to five track mounted drill rigs. <br />2) LOB Conveyor Corridor <br />Overburden unsuitable for structural fill excavated from the Transfer Station #5 cut was hauled <br />to the Joe Dandy Main Cresson Backfill throughout the week. <br />Sheet 1 of 9 <br />LOB Weekly Report WE 04.25.09.D.doc
