ameO <br />Earth & Environmental <br />IV) Storm Water Management Structures <br />A) Control Structures <br />No work performed during the week. <br />B) Best Management Practices <br />Best Management Practices are being observed throughout the VLF Phase 5 Project. <br />V) VLF Geosynthetics <br />No work performed during the week. <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />SUMMARY: <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. <br />AMEC observed placement of structural fill within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC observed and accepted subgrade within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC observed the installation of the LOB Storm Water Culverts. Nuclear density test were performed <br />during installation with passing results. <br />Testing Summary <br />Laboratory testing continues (Particle Size Distribution, Atterberg Limits, and Moisture-Density <br />Compaction testing) for sampled materials. <br />GENERAL PROJECT ITEMS <br />Summary of Concerns: <br />No Concerns <br />Summary of Planning Items: <br />Structural fill placement for the Phase 5 VLF will continue. <br />Continue processing Soil Liner Fill at the South Cresson Clay Processing area. <br />Continue slope contouring above the East Perimeter Road. <br />Continue subgrade preparation within the VLF footprint. <br />Continue the excavation work at the planned water storage tank location. <br />Continue clearing and grubbing at the east slope of the Phase 5 VLF. <br />Summary of Non-conformances: <br />None Issued <br />Summary of Meetings and Discussions: <br />CC& V. <br />CC&V held a Weekly Construction meeting on June 23, 2009.
