All required reclamation <br />on the site is complete. <br />2) My office has been waiting for snow to melt from the site so that we can do a final <br />inspection, before we can approve the bond release. This would happen in mid-April at the <br />soonest, but we will postpone the bond release, as-needed, for resolution of the discharge <br />issue (see comment below). <br />3) My observation has been that the mine water probably always meets the iron standard after <br />it passes through the ponds. Your observations are correct that Mine 3 is on the opposite <br />side of the road from Mine 1, and there is no long-term guarantee that treatment will <br />continue because, after final bond release, there would be no requirement to maintain the <br />treatment piping and ponds. <br />We will wait for word from your office on the resolution of the mine water discharge issue, <br />before we proceed further with the bond release. <br />1
