A map indicating the result of <br />the GPS survey is attached. Some of the boundary markers were in need of replacement and the operator <br />indicated that would be taken care of. <br />The operator is to be commended for working to ensure surface drainage is maintained on site and infiltrates, <br />rather than running off and causing erosion. However, these efforts should concentrate on directing the <br />drainage away from the waste rock piles. Surface drainage should be managed by directing the flow to <br />existing drainage features after passing through a sediment control feature (if necessary) such as a silt fence <br />or settling pond. The operator is advised to contact the Division prior to installation of any drainage control <br />features, as a revision to the permit may be required. <br />I & E Contact Address <br /> ?
