Inc. <br />Shift: Day/Night <br />Reporting Period: 05/31/09 through 06/06/09 <br />Days S M T W T F S <br />Work Shifts D D D D D - <br /> E <br />D = Day Shift N = Night Shift <br />Ambient Temperature Range: Lows: 33°F to 45°F (+/-) Highs 42°F to 63°F (+/-) <br />AMEC: CQA Personnel On-site through the Reporting Period (See Attachment A). <br />AMES: Work delays Monday 6/1/2009 due to rain, hail, and lightning. <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND PROGRESS: <br />I) Earthworks <br />A) Overburden to Stockpile <br />1) LOB Delivery Road <br />Overburden excavation continued between stations 29+00 (+/-) and 31+00 (+/-) and stations <br />0+00 (+/-) and 3+00 (+/-). Unsuitable material was transported to the Joe Dandy Main <br />Cresson backfill using CAT 777, and 40-ton articulating haul trucks. A CAT 345 excavator <br />and a CAT 375 track excavator were used to load the haulage equipment, aided by a CAT D-8 <br />dozer. <br />Excavation of the Road Side Ditch was performed between stations 5+50 (+/-) and 2+50 (+/-), <br />approximately 40 to 50 feet left of centerline. The excavation was performed using a CAT 375 <br />track excavator assisted by a CAT D-8 dozer. Excavated materials were hauled to the LOB <br />Delivery Road construction extending beyond design station 44+47.34 or to the Joe Dandy <br />Main Cresson Backfill. <br />Material suitable for Structural Fill from the aforementioned cut areas was hauled to the Phase <br />5 VLF fill areas between stations K3+00 to K9+00 approximately 0 to 100 feet right of <br />centerline or if the material was finer grained, it was hauled to the LOB Delivery Road and <br />used for finish grading. <br />Rockbreakers drilled shot holes in the LOB Delivery Road cut between stations 29+00 (+/-) to <br />31+00 (+/-), approximately 40 to 50 feet left of centerline.
