G4 (TR-G4} <br />Termination wildlife 11?onitaring <br />?? <br />Dear Ms. Maiola: <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title ?4, ,Article 33, Section 1 i ?, <br />Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on June 12, 2009, an application to revise coal mining operativn? at the <br />Seneca II-w Mine was considered complete far the purposes of filing. The revision was subnutted by Seneca Coal Company, <br />LLC. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate fxom this date of filing, <br />This revision application would allow for termination of the wildlife rnanitoring program at the Seneca iZ west Mine, based on <br />the fact that active muting operations have ceased and future activity will be lirrtited to maintenance and reclamation projects. <br />The surface coal ininirlg operation is an land located appraxirnately 9 miles South of I?ayden, Colorado. The permit area is <br />further described as follows: <br />TSN, RS$w; All of Section 1 ?; Porkians of Sections 9,10,11,14, I6, 21, 22, ?3, 26, 27, 34, and 35 <br />T6N, R88w; Portions of Sections 14, 23 and 24 <br />T6N, R87w;Portions of Sections 17,18,19 <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are spawn on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Hayden, l?ayden Gulch, Dunckley, and <br />Mt. Harris. <br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the time of <br />publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to place a cagy of this application at the Hayden Public Library, <br />ZQ 1 E. Jefferson Avenue, Hayden, CD 51639-1513, and at the Division office, l?or additional information or to provide written <br />comments, contact doe Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room ? 15,131 ?
