Johnston: <br />The Division of Reclamatian# Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116, <br />Paragraph ?, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on June 1?, 2.009, an application to revise coal mining operations at the <br />Seneca IY- Mine was considered complete far the purposes of filing. The revision vas submitted by Seneca Coal Company, <br />PLC, All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />This revision application would allow for termination of the wildlife monitoring program at the Seneca II Nest I1iline, based an <br />the fact that active mining operations have ceased and future activity will be limited to maintenance and reclamation projects. <br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 9 miles South of Hayden, Colorado, The permit area is <br />further described as follows: . <br />TSB, R?BV?; All of Section 15; Portions of Sections 9,10, l 1,14,16, 21, 22, 23, ??, 27, 34, and 35 <br />T6N, RBSw; Portions afSections 14, 23 and ?4 <br />T6N, RS7w; Portions of Sections 1'x,1 x,19 <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown an USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle neap of Hayden, Hayden Gulch, Dunaley, and <br />Mt. Harris. <br />The applicant is required to publish native in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the time of <br />publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to place a copy of this application at the Hayden Public Library, <br />201 E. Jefferson Avenue, Hayden, CO 81639-1813, and at the Division office.
