• CHRONOLOGY <br />Foidel Creek Mine <br />Federal Leases COC-081330, COC-20900 and COC-67514 <br />Mining Plan Decision Document <br />DATE EVENT <br />June 26, 2008 Twentymile Coal Company submitted the permit application <br />package (PAP) under the approved Colorado State Program to the <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />(CO-DRMS) for a Technical Revision (TR-64) at the Foidel Creek <br />Mine. <br />July 16, 2008 The State Historic Preservation Office provided its comments on <br />the proposed mining plan modification and in its opinion a finding <br />of no historic properties affected is appropriate for the proposed <br />activities. <br />July 20, 2008 Twentymile Coal Company published in the Steamboat Pilot the <br />fourth consecutive weekly notice of the availability of an <br />administratively complete permit application package. During the <br />• review period no public comments were received. <br />August 12, 2008 The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service provided its final consultation <br />comments regarding threatened and endangered species associated <br />with the TR-64. <br />December 2, 2008 The Bureau of Land Management provided its findings and <br />recommendations on the approval of the mining plan, with respect <br />to the Resource Recovery and Protection Plan. <br />October 3, 2008 CO-DRMS issued its Proposed Decision for Technical Revision <br />No. TR-64. <br />October 12, 2008 Twentymile Coal Company published in the Steamboat Pilot the <br />notice of CO-DRMS' proposed decision. <br />October 22, 2008 CO-DRMS Proposed Decision for Technical Revision No. 64, <br />became final. <br />April 30, 2009 OSM's Western Region recommended to the Director, OSM, that <br />the mining plan action be approved. <br />
