The
permit revision was reviewed for conformance with the Mineral Leasing Act of February 20, 1920, as amended, for
development, production, maximum economic recovery, and to applicable regulations of 43 CFR 3480. Federal
Leases COC72980, COC20900, and COC081330 are authorized coal leases for Twentymile Coal Company's Foidel
Creek. A Resource Recovery and Protection Plan modification (R2P2) for the Federal Lease COC72980 needs to be
submitted; this R2P2 modification is a federal coal lease administrative issue and should not hold up your approval of
the above referenced permit action. The Little Snake Field Office recommends approval of Permit Revision
Application No. 8.
If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Maiolo at (970) 826-5077.
Sincerely,
a"*-, a os*k-
John Husband
F6 V Field Manager
cc: Mr. Carl Johnston
Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement
PO Box 46667
Denver, CO 80201-6667
Mr. Jerry Nettleton
Twentymile Coal Company
29515 Routt County Road 27
Oak Creek, CO 80487
